For the longest time I have wanted to put a music player on my website, but didn't know what type to put in. I was also afraid that my site wouldn't validate. But the biggest problem was that a music player takes up a lot of space that I would rather use for something else. I finally decided that it would be best to put a music player in a pop-up window and let the user click a button to bring it up.

So the question comes up, what have I learned? In all honesty, I think the answer leans more towards what I have remembered- just because you can do something does not mean that you should. I know how to put a music player on each page, but that would only cause a person to leave my page that much quicker.

How did I use my new knowledge then? I really struggled on where I should put the music player and where I should put link for it. I finally decided to put a button just under the navigation bar, this way when the user goes to click on a page they will be drawn to listen. They can choose for themselves whether or not they are in the mood to listen.
